Souvenir Review

Souvenir is a strange adventure of exploration where you play a character who seems to be inside a dream. It’s never totally clear if that’s the case but if you take into account the floating objects and the fact that you can shift your own gravity, it seems more and more likely.

At the beginning you’ll find yourself in a sort of theatre, but it won’t be long before you realize the theatre is just the tip of the iceberg. Through a hole in the wall you’ll be able to reach a series of little planets where you’ll move between trees, giant birds and impossible structures.

Your objective in Souvenir is to find a series of objects scattered all over the different levels. Those objects will give clues about who you are or what you’re doing there, along with some floating messages that will help you too.

Souvenir is a playable experience that’s as strange as it is visually stunning. You probably still won’t fully understand everything, even after finding the object necessary to finish the game, but it will still have been worth it.
