Summoning Wars Review
Summoning Wars is a free and open-source role playing game that lets you play the main campaign both as single player and in multiplayer mode, with up to eight people playing on a local network.
The game has a gameplay that’s very similar to that in Diablo and the rest of the traditional ARPGs, with the fundamental difference that Summoning Wars is in 3D and uses polygonal graphics. Except for that detail, you can find everything that you would expect from this game: conversations with other characters, fighting hundreds of enemies, earning experience and leveling up, using magic abilities, equipping weapons and armors, etc.
You also follow a pretty elaborated story that starts with your character locked in a dungeon inside a guarded castle. Everything goes bad when a dangerous demon attacks, and the guardians themselves ask for your help.
Summoning Wars is a pretty fun role playing game; although it looks pretty ugly (the graphics are not very good), it offers a great gameplay and a very good storyline. Apart from that, you can choose from several different classes in the beginning of the game, and get very different experiences from each of them.
